Our kids must begin to know that the phrase, “If I go to college,” is no longer used to provide them with the thinking of their economically sound future instead, the phrase "When I go" is preferred when it comes to thinking about the future.

The GEAR UP program is designed to significantly increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in post-secondary education. GEAR UP services provide information regarding financial aid for post-secondary education which includes one and two year technical programs, two year Associate Degree programs and four year Baccalaureate Programs.

GEAR UP is also about informing family and community about all of these topics. GEAR UP will offer campus exploration field trips to students so they can see and experience what a college campus looks and feels like.
